The Dark Tower draws a close to Steven Kings biggest focus through out his career as a writer. It is all of his work drawn together in an epic final installment to his 7 book series which took him over 30 years to complete. The characters in this novel are absolutely brilliant, and this book does them all justice and finishes things perfectly. After reading 6 books you want to savor the last and enjoy it, you want to feel satisfied with the ending and feel that everything was tied up perfectly, and in The Dark Tower you get that. There is no bull in this story, no dragging out the cause just a little longer, it is a difficult journey and this book completes it thoroughly. Iv not yet found a series i can hold up to the quality of DT and i know i wont for quite some time. This is a must read for anyone who likes Western, Fantasy or really any genre. Its Kings attempt at writing his very own "Lord of the Rings" style epic and not only does he do it, he surpasses it by a very very long way. It may be coming to the big screen soon, or possibly as a tv show, the rights have been bought to it by J.J Abrams, so you know it ought to be great.
